CANCELLATION/MISSED APPOINTMENT POLICY

The time for your/your child’s appointments is reserved specifically for you/your child. If you cannot attend your appointment, PLEASE NOTIFY THE OFFICE AT LEAST 2 BUSINESS DAYS IN ADVANCE so we may make this appointment time available to another patient who requires services.

Please note that no-shows and appointments canceled with less than 2 business days notice will be automatically charged at your full, regular session rate to the credit card on file at the time of the missed scheduled appointment.

  • Two business days (M-F) advance notice means, for example, that appointments on a Monday should be canceled by the previous Thursday. This 2 business days policy is a longstanding and common practice among many mental health professionals.

It is important to remember that regular follow-up visits, particularly for medication monitoring, are necessary to provide safe and effective healthcare.

Sometimes things just happen!

In truly unforeseen circumstances, patients will be given a one-time courtesy for late cancellations due to situations such as illness or other such unforeseen situations that are simply beyond your control.
